Happy to share that our latest real-world study—the FIRST multicenter experience evaluating Radiofrequency Renal Denervation (RDN) in INDIAN patients with resistant hypertension—has been published in Cardiology Research!
While major RDN trials (SYMPLICITY, SPYRAL, RADIANCE) established global proof of concept, evidence in Indian patients—who often present with earlier onset hypertension, distinct metabolic risk factors, and high salt sensitivity—has been lacking.
Working across 21 tertiary care centers in India, we followed 26 patients with resistant hypertension over a 12-month period post-RDN.
Key Study Takeaways:
-Marked Blood Pressure Drop
-Significant Pill Burden Reduction
-Strong Safety Profile
These real-world insights demonstrate that RDN can be a safe, highly effective adjunctive therapy to significantly reduce long-term cardiovascular risk and medication dependence in Indian clinical practice.
A huge thank you to all co-investigators and clinical teams across India whose collaboration made this landmark publication possible
